Space travel has came along way in the past thirty years. It was no more than fifty years ago that putting a man in space was unheard of. After that was accomplished our goal was to place a man on the moon. That was accomplished and we are now trying place a man on a permanent space station. What are some possible future goals of our space program?

Space travel has came a long way in recent history. We will look at this history of space travel, the current space program, and where the space program is headed in the next twenty five years.
In the written report you will need to include the following information:

• Who was the first man in space ? When did this occur?
• Who was the first woman in space ? When did this occur?
• What are the names of the major space projects in recent history? What did each program study?
• Who was the first American in Space?
• Who was the first person to land on the moon? When did this occur?
• What was the name of the first American space station? When was it started?
• What is the current space program of the United States?
• What is the major international space project currently?
• What are the possible means of travel in future space travel?
• What are the possible ways to stay in space for an extended period of time?
