At Grammar and Sentence Structure
DIAGRAMMING:

GRAMMAR

Step One:  Go to Grammar Park Sentence Clubhouse to review the types of sentences.  Choose all four sentence type walls.

Step Two:  Go to Sentence Clubhouse again and work on the types of Nouns Dunk basketball shootoff.

Step Three:  Go to Grammar Glossary and read the items in the Grade Four Review

Step Four:  Go to Verb Power and find the correct form of the underlined VERB

Step Five:  Go to Subject-Verb Mixup and make correct sentences with subject/verb/ending.

Step Six:  Go to Sentence Sort, and play the sentence game for 5 minutes.  See how many spaces you can move.

Step Seven:  Go to Quia Parts of Speech Activities and do the Matching and Concentration

Step Eight:  Go to Intermediate Grammar 4 and do the questions on verb tense.  See how many you can get right.

Step Nine:  Go to Flash Quiz and do the assorted questions.  See how many you can get right.

Step Ten:  Go to Famous People Quiz, and fill in the missing words.

SENTENCE DIAGRAMMING

This activity will include board work and paper work.  On-Line resources will be used to look at actual examples, and to check work.  

Procedure One:  Work on the thirty sentence list and diagram on paper, or on the board according to teacher directions.

Procedure Two:  Go to the Diagramming Sentences online site.  When there, review Part One, with thirty sentence examples.  Check your results from Procedure #One.

Procedure Three:  Diagram each sentence in the paragraph as provided by the teacher.  After finishing, check your diagrams with the sentences.  

Your teacher will give further directions on the grammar/sentence structure activity.
