Carl Sandburg Students The Nature Trail Activity will include a visit to the trail during all four seasons. We will go into the trail in Sept. (late summer), Oct. (Fall), winter--according to the best weather day with a little snow, and Spring (May). A "Nature Trail Notebook" will be maintained to hold all completed work and a journal of experiences on our trail walks during the four seasons. The notebook will include pages with illustrations, diagrams, notes, digital photos, stories, and of course the answers to the "Nature Trail" questions. Colored pencils, crayon and even a collage format will be allowed. Students may work on the notebook at home. The notebook will be bound in a style that matches nature (plants, animals and geology). The notebook will be used to show at the Family Fun Night in late May. Have fun and be CREATIVE! |
