Follow directions, and you will learn a lot about Mt. Rushmore, its sculptor and the four Presidents.

You may do this for your own fun, or for a teacher as an assignment.  We will help you to become a Mt. Rushmore knowledge base (knows a lot about it).

Here are some questions we will figure out answers to in this activity:

• Why was the famous memorial was built where it is?
• Who was the sculptor that used dynamite, and worked so high hanging from ropes and making such a good "sculpture"?
• Who are the four Presidents depicted on Mt. Rushmore?
• When did Mt. Rushmore get constructed, and how much did it cost?
• Why is Mt. Rushmore so important to Americans today?
