Connection to Learning Standards:
As with all the activities we have posted, we recommend that you connect to Math, Reading, Social Studies, and Writing.

The activities are motivating and easy to catch the interest of students, and you can select specific standards, goals and objectives to include in your own lesson plan using the historical activities posted by Cowden-Herrick Schools.

There are suggestions in many of the teacher/directions for connecting to standards.

You know what standards you need to address.  Tailor fit these activities for those standards, and include your own side-activities.
